How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the size of the site and how ready your content is. After our first conversation I give you a timeline in writing and keep you updated as we go. A good rule of thumb for a medium-sized website is 6 weeks.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Two things: a few decisions and your brand materials. First we choose a platform and define the scope, such as whether you need only text and a form, or a calendar, a store, job listings, or a blog. Then I need your logo files and any branding you want matched, like colors and fonts. If you don't have those, a few example websites you like are enough to get started.
Can we meet in person, or is everything remote?
We can meet in person. If you are within reasonable driving distance of Greeley, I'm happy to come to you or meet for coffee. Zoom and phone calls work just as well.
Do you require a deposit, and what is the payment schedule?
Yes. The cost is paid in three parts: one third when you accept the quote, one third when the first draft is delivered for your review, and one third at launch.
Do you offer payment plans or monthly pricing?
Not for website development, which follows the three-payment schedule above. After launch, I offer website care plans starting at $99 per month.
