Services

Websites first. Then everything else.

I design and build websites for Greeley businesses, and I can serve as your designer afterward. Here's what that covers.

Web Design & Development

A good fit if you don't have a website yet, or the one you have doesn't reflect the business you've built.

A custom website designed around how your customers make decisions, then built to load fast, work on every phone, and stay easy for you to update.

What's included

  • Custom design for your key pages
  • Mobile-friendly, fast-loading build
  • Contact and quote forms that reach your inbox
  • Search basics: page titles, descriptions, and local business details
  • Help connecting Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile
  • A walkthrough so you can edit text and photos yourself

Platforms

  • WordPress
  • WPBakery
  • Elementor
  • Divi
  • Shopify
  • Webflow
  • Wix

Common questions

Which platform should I use: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, or fully custom?

The features you need and your budget decide it. A small business that needs only a few pages and a form is often best served by a fully custom site, which has fewer dependencies and less to maintain. Larger or more ambitious projects benefit from a fuller platform. How much you want to edit the site yourself after launch also matters, because the more advanced platforms are easier to change without code. I recommend WordPress for most clients.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. On WordPress and other editor-based platforms, I walk you through editing text, photos, and simple pages, and I provide written training to refer back to. If you would rather not, I can handle updates for you.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. Whether it's on WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, or something else, I can refresh it or move it to a platform that fits you better.

Can you add online booking, payments, or an online store?

Yes. Some of these features connect to your existing CRM, and others rely on subscription services that I can connect your website to. We cover these needs at the start and build a plan around them.

Can you build a site with forms, quote requests, or a customer portal?

Yes. All of these can be added. We discuss what you need and plan the build around it.

Can you connect my site to my CRM, email marketing tool, or scheduling software?

Yes. If you use HubSpot, BenchmarkOne, Mailchimp, or another marketing platform, I install the forms and tracking scripts that connect it to your new website.

Will my site be mobile-friendly and accessible (ADA/WCAG)?

Yes. Every site I build works on phones, tablets, and desktops, and it follows accessibility best practices from the start, such as readable text contrast and keyboard navigation. If you need more thorough testing, such as WCAG 2.1 AA, we include it in the project scope.

Search and AI visibility

Will my site show up on Google? What SEO is included, and what isn't?

Yes. I submit your site to Google so it can be crawled and indexed, and I handle the technical on-page SEO, such as page titles and meta descriptions. Backlink strategies are not included.

How long does SEO take to work?

A new site usually becomes visible to Google within a few days to a couple of weeks. Meaningful ranking improvements usually take 3 to 6 months.

Do you do local SEO, such as Google Business Profile, local keywords, and citations?

Yes. Local search is a priority, especially for Greeley and Northern Colorado businesses. A Google Business Profile is one of the best ways to appear in local results, and I can help you build one.

Do you build sites so they show up in AI search, like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity?

Yes. Writing is the most important factor in AI search. I shape your content around the questions your customers ask and answer them clearly, which builds your authority as a reliable source of information.

Do you add schema markup, such as LocalBusiness, FAQ, and Service?

Yes. I add structured data so search engines and AI tools can read who you are, what you offer, and where you work.

Do you guarantee search rankings?

No. Rankings change constantly, and no one can promise a specific position. Ranking well takes ongoing work on your side: publishing regular blog posts so the site always has fresh content, keeping social media accounts active, and earning links from other authoritative sources. I'm glad to help you pursue all three.

Do you set up Google Analytics and Search Console? Can I see the reports?

Yes. I set up both, and you are an administrator on each.

Branding & Graphic Design

A good fit if you're starting a business, or your logo was made in a hurry years ago and never quite fit.

A brand identity gives every part of your business the same look, from the sign on the door to the top of your website.

What's included

  • Logo design with versions for web, print, and social
  • Color palette and typeface choices
  • Simple brand guidelines to hand to a printer or sign shop
  • Business cards, letterhead, and stationery
  • Social media profile and cover graphics

Common questions

Can you design my logo or refresh my branding along with the website?

Yes. I have been a professional graphic designer since 2009, and I design logos and branding to fit your business and industry. The Work page has examples.

Can you make business cards, flyers, and signage to match my site?

Yes. I create business cards, flyers, sell sheets, signage, and other design work to match your site.

Do you manage social media, or just design graphics for it?

I don't manage social media accounts. I design the profile images, banner images, and graphics or videos that you post.

Do you do email design for Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Klaviyo?

Yes. I have designed Black Friday sale emails, newsletters, event announcements, and autoresponder emails from CRMs, along with other campaigns.

Motion Graphics & Animation

A good fit if you want your website, social posts, or presentations to stand out from everyone else in the feed.

Motion catches the eye and makes a website feel alive. It's rare to get animation from the same person who builds your site, so everything matches.

What's included

  • Animated logos and intros
  • Short videos for social media
  • Website animation and interactive headers
  • Promo and explainer animations
  • Video editing
  • Tradeshow videos

Common questions

What kinds of animation or video can you create, and what do they cost?

I make animated logos, video intros, and full motion graphics videos, and the Work page has examples. Animation takes time, so expect around $400 per minute of finished video. I quote every project individually before starting.

Ongoing Design Support

A good fit if you already have a website, from me or someone else, and need a designer you can call.

After launch, most businesses need a steady trickle of design work. Instead of hunting for a new freelancer each time, you work with the designer who already knows your brand.

What's included

  • Website updates, new pages, and seasonal changes
  • Email campaigns and newsletters
  • Business cards, flyers, brochures, and signage
  • Social graphics and ad designs
  • Menus, price sheets, and event materials

Common questions

What does ongoing support cost? Is there a monthly plan or hourly billing?

I offer three monthly care plans. Keep-Up is $99 per month and covers WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates, security and uptime monitoring, 30 minutes of small edits, and a monthly report. Growth is $199 per month and adds a monthly Google Analytics and Search Console review, a quarterly SEO check, and 1.5 hours of edits or design. White Glove is $399 per month and adds a monthly SEO check, 4 hours of design, same-business-day response, and a quarterly strategy call. Work beyond your plan, such as new pages or features, is estimated and built at an hourly rate.

What do I get each month?

A one-page report. It shows whether your site was up, what I updated, anything I held back and why, the date of your last backup, and your domain and SSL renewal dates.

Who handles hosting, backups, security, and software updates? What if my site gets hacked or goes down?

Hosting depends on the platform, but it is usually set up and paid for in your name. A care plan covers a backup before every update, security fixes, software updates, and malware cleanup.

Why aren't all my plugins updated?

Older sites sometimes run plugins that break when updated, and some plugins need a paid license to update. I test updates one at a time with a backup first, and I hold back anything that puts your site at risk. Held-back items are listed in your monthly report, so nothing is hidden.

How fast do you respond to update requests?

I usually respond within one business day. The response might be a quote for the job or the update itself. Most website changes take a few business days.

Do you provide training? Is it live, recorded, or written?

Yes. I prefer written training, so you have a document to return to when you update the site. If you prefer live training or a screen-capture video, just let me know.

Is there a warranty or bug-fix period after launch?

Bugs are fixed for 30 days after launch. After that, small fixes fit inside a care plan, which starts at $99 per month, or I can quote them as a new project.

Will my site stay fast and secure over time?

It will with regular maintenance. Technology goes out of date quickly, and security holes are discovered and fixed all the time. The longer a site sits untouched, the more likely it is to develop security problems. A care plan handles this for you. I take a backup, test each update, and hold back anything that could break your site.

Do you offer ongoing SEO, or only the setup?

Yes. Every care plan starts with a baseline SEO and AI-search check. Growth adds a quarterly check and a monthly review of Google Analytics and Search Console, and White Glove runs the check monthly.

Do unused hours roll over?

No. Hours reset each month, which keeps the price low.

What if I need more than my plan covers?

Extra work is billed at my normal hourly rate, and I tell you before going over.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, in any month. Just ask.
