The client
Aire Anesthesia is a medical company. To build traffic to its booth at an upcoming conference, it needed social media content that would stand out in the feed. I produced this piece in partnership with a marketing agency.
The challenge
Conference announcement posts are everywhere, and most look the same: a flat graphic with a booth number. The goal was the opposite of flat. The idea was a video that looks like an ordinary LinkedIn post, then breaks the fourth wall, with the animation jumping out of the post and grabbing the viewer’s attention. Everything also had to live in Aire’s signature teal-green world and deliver its message in 15 to 20 seconds.
The solution
I co-developed the concept with the agency’s creative lead and explored several directions built on Aire’s name: airflow, clouds, and the rising bubbles of the “Take a Breather.” version shown here. In each one, elements sweep past in the foreground, wiping across the frame to reveal the copy, then the logo, before fading away.
The illusion depends on the details. I added a cast shadow over the post mockup so the animated elements appear to float above the screen, selling the 3D effect. Swoosh sound effects punch up each reveal, and tight timing keeps the piece moving from the hook to the booth announcement. I animated it in After Effects, pulling colors and elements from Aire’s brand files so every frame stays on-brand.
The result
Aire Anesthesia got an eye-catching conference promotion in two formats: a LinkedIn version and a 4:5 Instagram version sized for the feed. Both were built to stop the scroll and drive visitors to the booth.
