The client
Braden Carlisle is a comedy magician based in Greeley, Colorado. He performs at kids’ birthday parties, schools, libraries, festivals, bachelorette parties, and corporate events. He regularly plays Boulder, performs at venues across the country, and has even taken his act to Canada.
The challenge
Braden’s old website was built from a basic template. Its low contrast made it hard to read, the design didn’t match the quality of his act, and the content was scattered, so visitors had to hunt for a way to book him. He wanted more bookings, and he wanted to move upmarket toward higher-end clients who expect a polished first impression.
The solution
The hardest part was reaching many different audiences. A parent planning a six-year-old’s party and an event planner booking a corporate holiday party want very different things. I built a custom WordPress site with Elementor that gives each audience its own page, with messaging, tone, and flow tailored to that group, all under one consistent, professional brand.
Every page leads to a single action: book a show. A clear booking flow hands visitors off to Braden’s scheduling tool, so it takes only a few steps to get from “this looks fun” to a confirmed date. The new design is high-contrast, easy to read, and fast on phones, where most people look up entertainers.
The result
Braden’s website now looks like the professional performer he is, and it’s doing its job: it has brought in more bookings since launch.
