The client
Eebu Health makes software that automates patient follow-up tracking. It integrates with a hospital’s EHR, tracks every step of a patient’s care plan, and keeps patients engaged through text-message reminders with no app to download. I was connected to Eebu through a Michigan-based organization that uses state grant funding to help small businesses get off the ground.
The challenge
This two-page overview focuses on one use case, tracking ureteral stent patients, where a single missed follow-up can put a patient at risk. The audience is hospital buyers, who need to understand the problem, the solution, and the evidence quickly. The content was dense and clinical: a research study, a data-flow diagram, and a list of patient engagement features. There was also very little imagery to work with, so the design had to carry the piece.
The solution
To keep dense material digestible, I organized the content into boxes with alternating colors. Each section stands on its own, so a buyer can skim the headlines, jump to the part they care about, and still follow the story from problem to proof.
Eebu provided the information for the data-flow diagram, and I designed the diagram itself, turning a technical process into a clear visual path from the EHR to the care team to the patient. I also created custom glass-effect background graphics that give the piece a modern, high-tech feel without relying on stock photos. The layout was built in InDesign.
The result
Eebu Health’s sales team now has a polished print piece for sales meetings, one that explains a complex product at a glance and gives hospital buyers something substantial to take back to their teams.
