The client
Kaelynn Partlow is an autism advocate, author, and speaker, known to many from Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum. I connected with her through her speaking engagement manager, who is based in Windsor, Colorado.
The challenge
Between speaking events and brand deals, Kaelynn was fielding the same questions over and over: who she is, who follows her, and which brands she’s worked with. She needed her first media kit, a single document she could send that answered everything up front.
The hardest part was the data. Kaelynn has audiences on four platforms, and each one reports different stats. Facebook, for example, tracks “Talking About” numbers that the others don’t. The kit had to present all of it accurately without looking like a spreadsheet, fitting as much useful information as possible onto one page while still flowing visually and looking good.
The solution
I built her brand from scratch, starting with a detail I noticed on her social media: the pink background in her Instagram avatar. I expanded that into a full color palette and visual style that feels personal and recognizably hers.
The one-page layout gives each section a clear place: her bio, her brand partnerships, and her audience numbers across all four platforms. I arranged the mismatched platform stats into a consistent visual system, so a brand manager can compare her reach at a glance, even though no two platforms measure the same things.
The result
Kaelynn now has a professional media kit and a personal brand to match. She can send one polished page in response to a booking inquiry, and it sells her reach and credibility before the first call.
