The client
MedTechSignal was a boutique market intelligence firm serving medical device companies. It delivered SKU-level procedure, revenue, and competitive data to help MedTech teams make high-stakes decisions.
The challenge
As a new brand, MedTechSignal needed to establish itself quickly with a skeptical, expert audience. The website had to explain a complex data service clearly, build trust with medical device executives, and carry the brand already established in the firm’s pitch deck, business cards, and B2B print materials.
The solution
The client chose Webflow as the platform. I’d used it in agency work, and I’m always glad to adopt the tool that best fits the project.
The site’s centerpiece is an animated ring at the top of the homepage. A dotted waveform resolves into a solid line, a visual version of the brand promise: “More signal. Less noise.” It also brings MedTechSignal’s bold colors to the top of the page without overwhelming the content. Behind it, a background video features the kind of executives the firm served, helping visitors see themselves as the intended audience.
Brand collaboration
I worked with another designer on the firm’s team to develop the brand. My contributions included the noise-to-signal graphic, the image treatment used throughout, and the typographic system that defines when and how each brand font is used. That system carried consistently from the website to the MedTechSignal business cards and other print pieces.
The result
MedTechSignal launched with a cohesive, confident brand across web and print, giving a new firm the polish of an established one from day one.
