Prominent Investigations

What does a private investigator really do? Before this website build, I only had Veronica Mars as a guide. But this website makes all the services clear and allows clients to start a case.

The client

Prominent Investigations is a private investigation firm. The project came to me through a referral from an industry connection, and it was the firm’s first website.

The challenge

Most people’s picture of a private investigator comes from TV, which makes marketing a real PI firm harder than it sounds. Potential clients often don’t know what an investigator can do for them, what’s legally allowed, or that many of the firm’s services exist at all. Without a website, Prominent Investigations had no easy way to educate prospects or bring in new work.

The solution

I built a WordPress site that lays out every service clearly, including many that don’t come to mind when people think “private investigator.” The content explains what each service involves and what investigators can legally do, so visitors understand how the firm can help before they ever pick up the phone.

In a field built on trust and discretion, credibility is everything. A clean, professional design shows the firm is established, and credentials and license information are displayed clearly so prospects know they’re working with qualified, legitimate investigators.

The site also turns interest into action. Clients can open a case directly on the website: describe their situation, attach relevant documents, and provide everything the team needs to get started. The first conversation begins with the details already in hand.

The result

Prominent Investigations now has a professional online presence that educates prospects, establishes credibility, and brings new cases in through a streamlined intake process.
