The client
Possibilities for Change is a nonprofit that gives schools, health departments, and social programs evidence-based screening tools for youth mental health. It also offers training for counselors and parents. I’ve worked with them since 2016.
The challenge
Their old website was text-heavy, confusing, and hard to navigate. The main audience is decision-makers at institutions that serve teenagers, and those readers are busy. They need to understand what a screening tool does and why it matters without wading through clinical detail. The old site gave them walls of text and few visuals to guide them.
The solution
I rebuilt the site on WordPress with WPBakery, organizing the content around what each audience needs. More graphics, imagery, and white space break complex information into digestible pieces while keeping the warmth of the mission front and center.
Highly technical material now sits behind HubSpot forms. Casual visitors get a clear overview, and serious prospects identify themselves and get personal guidance from a team member. The site now works as a lead generator as well as an information resource.
The result
The marketing manager finally has a well-organized website that matches the organization’s offerings and is easier to manage day to day.
An ongoing partnership
The website is one piece of a long-running relationship. I’ve also designed the Teen Speak book for their parent training brand, the Rising Together logo and program flyer, and the ADAM logo for the technology behind their work.
